Member Notes:
Dark, opaque orange in color with a bright white head. The aroma is thick and malty, sweet with a touch of caramel and earthy, piney hops. It's super delish in the mouth, bold with hops and high in both alcohol and IBUs. Man, I live it when double IPAs are like this. Thick, sticky, and close to what it might taste like when sucking on a mouthful of hop cones, but with some liquor thrown in the mix. Very, very impressive. Love me some of this. 8 4 8 4 16-17 A /A - noss
Club & Brewer Notes:
This beer was developed as a collaboration with Mark Richman, the lucky winner of the Taste of the Nation "brewer for a day" silent auction item. This is one monster of an imperial IPA, brewed with a bit of honey and beet sugar.
