Member Notes:
Practically black in color with a light brown colored head, this has an almost odd roasted malt character that's a little sweet, a little roasted, and a little hoppy. It's balanced, but there's still something odd about its aroma. In the mouth it seems very much like a dark strong ale. If you convince yourself that it's not a double black, and rather just a straight up dark strong, this is actually a better beer. Now... let's pretend this is a strong ale and get on with our lives. It's nice. Smooth, roasted, strong. You can really pick up the alcohol in this. Nice, and easy drinking for what it is. 6-7 3 7 4 16 A- - noss

This big beer has a beautiful malt character to accompany the intense hop profile. Plus a hint of roast character.
