Member Notes:
This pleasant surprise is very dark brown, almost black, with red hues. It has a dark, malty aroma, while not being too roasted. It’s nice and easy. The flavor is really nice, almost fruity, and nearly candy-like, but not in the way that most fruity stouts are. It’s really nice and inviting, a real treat. It has a soft, beautiful mouthfeel and finish, nearly chocolaty, thin, but complex and mature. Bueno. - noss
