Created by the Master Brewers behind Banana Bread Beer and Double Chocolate Stout, Wells & Young’s new beer is based on the quintessentially British dessert Sticky Toffee Pudding. The 5% ABV beer is brewed using natural accredited mineral water and the finest ingredients to combine the rich flavours of Sticky Toffee Pudding with traditional ale to create an indulgent beer.

The Half Cycle is so named due to its marriage of single and double IPA characteristics. In baseball parlance, a single and double is half of “the cycle”, and this IPA is a heavy hitter. It’s a single IPA, hopped like a double, with an over-the-top hop character that’s a bit spicy, citrusy, piney, you make the call. Light in color, but not on flavor, this big boy is dry hopped with a pound of high alpha American hops in every barrel. ABV: 6% IBU: 104

Bulling its way into our Big Beer Series: Rhye IPA! In craft beer, there are almost as many bad rye puns as there are bad hop puns; Smuttynose is happy to spare you from more of either. Instead, we’ll tell you about our new Big Beer, Rhye IPA. We brewed it because we like drinking hoppy American-style beers and we wanted a chance to brew with rye. The rest, as they say, is history. The result is a 7% hoppy IPA, with rye spiciness and big hop character. This beer will really get under your armor… The image on the Rhye IPA label is a famous drawing of an Indian rhinoceros by 16th century German painter and printmaker, Albrecht Dürer. Dürer had never seen the creature before and created the drawing based on one description and a crudely scribbled sketch.

This Schwarzbier has been "imperialized" (alcohol content increased) and then left to age in used 10-gallon Garrison Brothers Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey (Hye, TX) barrels which are then used by Austin-based Dulce Vida Organic Tequila to age their Limited Lone Star Edition Añejo tequila. Aging this unique beer in tequila barrels adds subtle flavors of vanilla and oak while the tequila adds a mild citrus/agave sweetness.
