Boom! The soft waters of Pilsen. Czech Republic birthed this classic style centuries ago & the waters from the Artesian wells in Memphis are perfect to create our own version today. Pow! This beer is made with German pilsner malt and is spiked with local wildflower honey. There are delicate herbal aromas wafting forth from this crisp, smooth Pale Lager. Shazam!

Bearwalker was inspired by our brewmaster Bailey’s Vermont roots. Pure maple syrup is infused during the conditioning phase, and is noticeable from start to finish. Chocolate malts add roasted notes to the flavor and aroma. It is also more highly hopped than most browns to create a balanced, yet complex brew.

A traditional Hefe with one lil twist… We added a hint of Orange Peel. Orange Ya’ as we nicknamed it has a hint of clove and a light phenol nose and flavor from the traditional German Hefeweizen Yeast. That’s the banana! Get it? Eh eh? Ok, we know; Bad Joke. Anyhow, it is perfect for a hot day and a powerful thirst.

The newest addition to the Chatoe Rogue series is Pumpkin Patch Ale, a beer made using fresh pumpkins grown in a patch that borders Rogue’s 42 acre hop yard. The pumpkins are picked, loaded into Rogue’s farm truck, driven immediately 77 miles to our brewery in Newport, quickly roasted, and pitched into the brew kettle to create a batch of Pumpkin Patch Ale.

The Tent Pole is a smooth operator. One of the first batches off our new equipment, we got excited to play with Madagascar vanilla beans-about 50 of them. Some in the boil, some in the fermenter, and some in the secondary. Made with black patent and chocolate malt, it arrived at the tap at 6.1% ABV with a very subtle vanilla finish and an exceptionally silky mouth feel.

IPAs are certainly beers that lean towards bitterness. Many balance that bitterness with a lot of residual sweetness, not something Davin wanted. Instead, he wanted to balance the beer by providing a nice fluffy texture by using malted and flaked wheat which also helps showcase the juicy hop aroma and flavor. Hops add bitterness and flavor and aroma, depending on the variety and when they are added to the brew process. Cascade and Centennial hops give Ananda juicy citrus, mango, melon aromas and flavor.

OZapft is – It is tapped! declares the Mayor of Munich as he breaks open the first barrel to officially open Oktoberfest. Mashed with a local barley malt along with a distinct blend of toast, biscuit and caramel malts for a beautiful deep copper color. Fermented cool in stainless with our preferred house lager yeast for a decidedly dry finish. Lagered extensively in stainless steel and then moved into freshly dumped bourbon barrels for further maturation. Boasting an intense sweet bourbon aroma that follows into the first sip, this interpretation of a Vienna lager beer is not for the weak. This offering is filled with whisky yet drinks incredibly smooth for its very high alcohol content. Imbibe cautiously and celebrate carefully. Available just in time for our Oktoberfest celebration. Prost!
