Cask conditioned ale has been the popular choice among brews since long before prohibition. We continue this pioneer spirit with our Wisconsin farmhouse ale. Brewed with the finest American malts. We even give a nod to our farmers. Naturally cloudy we allow the yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance fullness of flavors, which cannot be duplicated otherwise. Expect this ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying. You know you're in Wisconsin when you see the Spotted Cow.

Since 2012 Natalie and Vinnie have been eyeing experimental hop HBC-692 at the experimental hopyard at Select Botanical’s in Yakima, WA. It particularly struck a chord with them because of its distinctive pink grapefruit aroma. One of the highlights of the their annual trip to Yakima for hop selection is “rubbing” or smelling this hop. We chose to brew an India Pale Lager to really showcase the hop character. Apical Dominance has a beautiful grapefruit and melon aroma, with mild bitterness, and a lingering finish.

'Hazy-O!' starts with literally truckloads of oats & wheat for a full body, then it’s liberally dry-hopped to deliver juicy tropical notes of citrus, mango and pineapple! But the real star is our secret ingredient: oats! This Hazy IPA uses 4 types of oats including: malted oats, providing cloudiness & mouthfeel; rolled oats, creating silky mouthfeel; naked oats, providing a subtle toasted and nutty flavor; and oat milk to amplify the haze and mouthfeel for a beer that is incredibly juicy & hop-forward while being smooth and refreshing! Hazy-O!’s silky soft, creamy mouthfeel makes it drink like a 5% ABV session sipper, even though it is a 7.1% ABV powerhouse!

Our American Strong Ale uses American two row malted barley and the darkest caramelized malts available. It is extravagantly hopped with four robust whole cone American hops; 68% of which are added to boil during the last fifteen minutes! The beer is named after two things that strike fear in those who are scared of them and such. Tasting notes: dark amber with a sticky-toffee colored head; malty sweetness with hints of dried fruit and burnt sugar; nicely balanced with aggressive hop flavor. This brew is so good it inspired a movie.

The beer is light in body and packed with tropical, citrus, and fruity notes from huge amounts of Citra, Strata, HBC 592, and Amarillo. When our two breweries join forces, your palate can’t avoid the dual exposure to flavor!
